The symbolism within our PCS, LLC logo - first the shield shows the protection and hazard mitigation that we offer you from the unknowns of our struggling world. At the bottom is a four-phase circle representing the four phases of the Emergency Management cycle, the second of which is Preparedness and shown in red. It is red to match our shield to show that we at PCS address this need and phase for you. This red phase is also shown as a stalk of grain as the Biblical Joseph stored grain in one of the earliest Preparedness stories we have in history (Genesis 41:49). He stored this grain after his God-provisioned insight to the Egyptian Pharaoh’s dream (Genesis 41:26) on the impending seven years of famine. His Preparedness for this is the only reason for their survival, and corresponds to the red 7 on the shown red Ark - red as PCS will help you prepare your safety net for the unknown, symbolized by what Noah built in an even earlier story of Preparedness (Genesis 6:19), during which he suffered ridicule and challenge for his efforts -  which continued until the rain started to fall on all others. Shown on the Ark in blue is a family - your family - which we aim to equip Community Resiliency thru Preparedness safety and security.  This blue matches the other phases of Emergency Management which our Preparedness training will well equip you for. 

The intricacy in our logo reflects further the same attention to detail that we place into our training and instructional offerings for you to capitalize on. The symbolism shown is woven with our unabashed Christian beliefs, but it must be clear that we welcome and look forward to those of all faiths. We are also students of World History, which the Bible helps to teach, and those who fail to learn such lessons will be doomed to repeat it (derived from the philosopher George Santayana, The Life of Reason, 1905).
